  1. 1 Place trivet in a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot). Add water.
  2. 2 Combine grated onion, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Swiss cheese, steak sauce, and hot pepper sauce in a mixing bowl and transfer to a 1.5-quart round casserole dish. Cover tightly with aluminum foil. Place dish in the pressure cooker on top of the trivet. Close and lock the lid.

Top each with a slice of Cheddar cheese and grill until cheese is melted and burger has reached desired degree of doneness, about 4 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
  5. 5 Meanwhile, begin toasting hamburger buns on the grill rack.
  6. 6 Remove burgers and buns from the grill once the cheese has melted. Assemble burgers.
