Instructions

  1. 1 In a saucepan over medium high heat, combine sugar and water. Cook, stirring, until mixture comes to a boil. Boil for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Stir in drink mix powder.
  2. 2 To serve: Stir 1 tablespoon syrup into 8 ounces milk, or to taste.

  1. 1 In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, mix together the strawberries, water, drink mix and pectin powder. Bring to a full rolling boil, then stir in sugar. Boil three minutes more.
  2. 2 Transfer to sterile jars, leaving 1/2 inch space at the top. Wipe rims of jars with a clean dry cloth. Store in the refrigerator.

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 225 degrees F (110 degrees C). Grease a large baking sheet. Place popped popcorn in a large bowl.
  2. 2 Combine sugar, corn syrup, and butter in a saucepan; bring to a boil until sugar dissolves, about 3 minutes.
  3. 3 Combine drink mix and baking soda in a large bowl; pour sugar mixture into drink mixture, stirring carefully. Sugar mixture will bubble. Pour mixture over popcorn; toss to evenly coat. Transfer coated popcorn to baking sheet.
  4. 4 Bake in the preheated oven, stirring every 10 minutes, until coating has hardened, about 30 minutes. Cool and break popcorn into pieces.

  1. 1 Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 365 degrees F (185 degrees C). Mix 3 cups flour, 1 cup sugar, the baking powder, salt, and 1/2 packet of the soft drink mix together in a large bowl.
  2. 2 Whisk the milk, eggs, butter, and vanilla extract together in a separate large bowl until blended; slowly stir in the flour mixture until entirely incorporated in a batter the consistency of a thick pancake batter.
  3. 3 Drop the batter by large spoonfuls, about 2 teaspoons in size, into the preheated oil; fry until deep golden brown on all sides, 2 to 3 minutes. Remove to drain on a platter lined with paper towels.
  4. 4 Mix together 1 cup sugar with the remaining 1/2 packet of soft drink mix in a flat-bottomed dish. Roll the drained donuts in the sugar mixture while still hot. Set aside on a fresh set of paper towels to cool slightly; serve warm.
