Instructions

  1. 1 Gather this ingredients.
  2. 2 Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Stir in popcorn kernels and sugar.
  3. 3 Cover and shake the pot constantly to prevent sugar from burning. When popping has slowed to once every 2 to 3 seconds, remove the pot from the heat and shake for a few minutes until popping stops.
  4. 4 Pour popcorn into a large bowl and allow to cool, stirring occasionally to break up large clumps.
  5. 5 Serve and enjoy!

Instructions

  1. 1 Place bacon grease into a 6-quart pot and place over high heat. Add one or two popcorn kernels as testers. When test kernels pop, add remaining popcorn kernels and cover with a lid. As kernels start to pop, shake the pan back and forth constantly to keep unpopped kernels on the bottom. When popping slows down, remove the pan from heat and let it finish popping.
  2. 2 Pour popcorn into a large bowl or paper sack. Season with 1/2 of the seasoned salt and stir. Taste before adding more salt if desired. Toss with bacon bits and shredded Cheddar cheese for an extra special treat. Store leftovers in lunch sacks or sandwich bags.

  1. 1 Heat coconut oil in a large pot over high heat. Drop 3 popcorn kernels into hot oil and place a lid on the pot; cook until 1 kernel has popped. Remove the lid and pour in remaining popcorn. Return the lid to the pot and cook popcorn, shaking the pot back and forth over the burner, until there are 1 to 2 seconds between pops, about 5 minutes.
  2. 2 Quickly transfer popcorn to a large bowl; evenly drizzle honey over popcorn. Add salt and cinnamon; toss popcorn with your hands to coat evenly.

  1. 1 Heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil in a very large pot over medium-high heat. Put 4 popcorn kernels into the oil and cover until popped; add remaining kernels to the saucepan in an even layer. Cover and remove from heat, about 30 seconds. Return to heat and gently shake pan back and forth over the burner until popping slows to several seconds between pops, 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. 2 Divide popcorn among large bowls and set aside.
  3. 3 Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, coconut oil, and salt in a sturdy pot over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture reads 270 degrees F (132 degrees C) on a candy thermometer. Add condensed milk, mix well, and heat back up to 270 degrees F (132 degrees C). Remove from heat and let cool for 1 minute. Mix in vanilla extract.
  4. 4 Pour hot caramel over popcorn. Mix well until coated.

  1. 1 Heat canola oil in a large pot over medium-high heat; add 1 popcorn kernel to hot oil. The oil is ready when kernel pops.
  2. 2 Pour popcorn kernels into hot oil; season with 1/2 of the popcorn salt. Stir to coat. Cover the pot with a sheet of aluminum foil. Poke about 10 holes into the aluminum foil using a knife. Cook popcorn until all kernels are popped, 5 to 10 minutes. Remove the pot from heat.
  3. 3 Sprinkle popcorn with remaining popcorn salt, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, chipotle chile pepper, and ancho chile pepper. Toss to evenly coat.
