  1. 1 Combine the blueberries, cherries, oranges, lemon juice, and pectin in a large pot; bring to a rolling boil. Stir in the sugar until it dissolves completely and the mixture returns to a rolling boil; boil 1 minute and remove from heat. Pour into hot, sterilized jars and top with sterilized lids. Secure lids with bands, process for 5 minutes in a boiling water bath. Allow jars to cool slowly, creating a vacuum seal. Allow to sit at room temperature 1 to 2 days to allow jam to set. Refrigerate after opening.

Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease 12 muffin cups or line with paper muffin liners.
  2. 2 Whisk flour, sugar, oats, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl.
  3. 3 Measure out 1 cup of reserved mandarin orange liquid; add liquid and vegetable oil to flour mixture and stir until batter is well-combined. Fold oranges and chocolate chips into batter. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups.
  4. 4 Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 25 minutes.

Instructions

  1. 1 Place chicken breasts in a bowl, pour teriyaki sauce over them, and coat well. Cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  2. 2 Preheat an outdoor grill for direct heat.
  3. 3 For the dressing, place green onions, salt, pepper, and sugar in a blender. Pour in olive oil and rice vinegar. Blend until smooth. Remove to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  4. 4 Grill chicken, turning, until done. Remove to a cutting board, and cut into strips.
  5. 5 In a large skillet or wok, warm oil over medium-high heat. Cut wonton wrappers into strips. Fry wonton strips until crisp. Remove to paper towels.
  6. 6 In a large bowl, toss together lettuce, water chestnuts, sesame seeds, sliced almonds, and mandarin oranges. Pour dressing over salad, and toss gently. Top with fried wontons and grilled chicken strips.

  1. 1 Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain, transfer to a large bowl, and cool.
  2. 2 Whisk sugar, eggs, flour, salt, and reserved pineapple juice together in a saucepan until smooth. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens. Pour over cooled pasta, and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate overnight, or at least 8 hours.
  3. 3 Stir pineapple chunks and mandarin oranges into orzo mixture. Mix in coconut if desired. Stir in frozen whipped topping until evenly blended. Chill until serving.

  1. 1 Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.
  2. 2 Place vinegar, sugar, red onion, mustard powder, and salt into the bowl of a blender. Cover, and puree on high until smooth. Reduce blender speed to medium-low; slowly pour in the vegetable oil and blend until incorporated and the dressing is creamy. Stir in the poppy seeds and set aside.
  3. 3 To serve, toss the romaine in a large bowl with the crumbled bacon, Mandarin oranges, and enough dressing to moisten. Place onto salad plates and sprinkle with toasted almonds.
