  2. 2 In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. In a cup, beat egg yolk, stir the cold water into the yolk.   2. 2 Combine 1 beaten egg, ground beef, onion, salt, and black pepper in a bowl; form into 3 equal-sized patties.
