  1. 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. 2 Grease a rimmed baking sheet.
  3. 3 Heat pumpkin puree in a skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until most of the liquid has evaporated and puree is thick. Stir in sugar, raisins, semolina, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Remove from heat.
  4. 4 Lay one puff pastry sheet into the prepared baking sheet. Spread the pumpkin mixture over the pastry and cover with the remaining pastry sheet. Brush the top of the puff pastry with beaten egg.
  5. 5 Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 30 to 40 minutes.

  1. 1 Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line an 11-inch round baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. 2 Combine sliced apples, 1/2 cup white sugar, butter, and brown sugar in a large bowl. Mix together gently, being careful not to break apple slices. Pour sugary juice from the apple mixture into the prepared baking pan. Arrange sliced apples on top in a circle. Sprinkle raisins on top of apples and pour any remaining juice over all.
  3. 3 Combine olive oil and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl. Add egg yolks, flour, grated apples, baking powder, and remaining white sugar. Stir well to combine. Beat egg whites to a light froth in a separate bowl and stir into the olive oil mixture carefully. Pour over the apples in the baking pan.
  4. 4 Bake in the preheated oven until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, about 45 minutes. Cover cake with foil if the top browns before the cake is done baking.
  5. 5 Remove cake from oven and allow to cool, about 30 minutes. Invert cake onto a serving plate.

  2. 2 Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place pork and onions in the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pork is evenly brown. Drain grease, and mix in wine and tomato puree. Continue cooking 10 minutes.
  3. 3 Transfer skillet mixture to a large bowl, and mix in feta cheese, cooked rice, raisins, pine nuts, and parsley. Stuff peppers with the mixture, and arrange in a baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil.
  4. 4 Bake 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove foil, and continue baking 10 minutes, until stuffing is lightly browned. May be served hot or cold.

  1. 1 Heat 2 Tbs. oil in a 12-inch ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Saute onions until tender, about 5 minutes. Add garlic, cinnamon and cloves; cook about 1 minute. Add meat, stirring to break it up, and cook about 5 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and raisins; simmer 10 minutes.
  2. 2 Arrange eggplant slices on a lipped cookie sheet. Brush both sides with remaining oil, and season with salt and pepper. Broil on upper oven rack, turning once with kitchen tongs, until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
  3. 3 Reduce heat to 400 degrees. Lay eggplant in a single layer over meat mixture. Whisk egg into mashed potatoes; spread over eggplant. Bake on lower rack until sauce is bubbly, about 20 minutes.

  1. 1 Blend raisins and orange juice in a blender or food processor until smooth; transfer mixture to a pot. Blend blueberries in blender or food processor until pureed; add to raisin mixture. Stir pectin into fruit mixture and bring to a boil. Mix sugar into fruit mixture; boil, stirring often, until sugar is dissolved, about 5 more minutes.
  2. 2 Sterilize the jars and lids in boiling water for 10 minutes. Pack the jam into the hot, sterilized jars, filling the jars to within 1/4 inch of the top. Run a knife or a thin spatula around the insides of the jars after they have been filled to remove any air bubbles. Wipe the rims of the jars with a moist paper towel to remove any food residue. Top with lids, and screw on rings.
  3. 3 Place a rack in the bottom of a large stockpot and fill halfway with water. Bring to a boil and lower jars into the boiling water using a holder. Leave a 2-inch space between the jars. Pour in more boiling water if necessary to bring the water level to at least 1 inch above the tops of the jars. Bring the water to a rolling boil, cover the pot, and process for 10 minutes.
  4. 4 Remove the jars from the stockpot and place onto a cloth-covered or wood surface, several inches apart, until cool. Once cool, press the top of each lid with a finger, ensuring that the seal is tight (lid does not move up or down at all). Store in a cool dark area.

  1. 1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2 Unroll 1 cinnamon roll dough and cut in half. Roll 1 half to form the "body." Rotate roll so the outer end of roll is facing downward; this will form the bunny's "front legs." Cut off 1/3 of the remaining dough and roll it up to form the "tail." Roll up the last 2/3 of the dough to about the halfway point to form the "head." Slice through remaining unrolled portion and fan out the pieces to form the "ears."
  3. 3 To attach the "tail" and "head" to the "body", rub away any cinnamon coating, wet dough, and press the pieces together. Spread out the "ears" and pinch them at the tips to shape. Transfer the "bunny" to the prepared baking sheet by carefully lifting with a spatula or scraper. Repeat with remaining rolls.
  4. 4 Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 15 to 18 minutes. Slide parchment paper with "bunnies" onto a wire rack to cool slightly.
  5. 5 Spread glaze onto warm "bunnies," following the pattern of the swirls and ears. Press a raisin into the center of the swirl on the head to form the "eyes."
