Instructions

  1. 1 Combine cereal and coconut in a medium size bowl.
  2. 2 Combine peanut butter and peanuts in a large mixing bowl.
  3. 3 Heat the sugar and corn syrup over a medium heat and stir constantly until the sugar is dissolved. Pour this mixture into the bowl with the peanut butter; mix well.
  4. 4 Pour cereal mixture into the liquid mixture; mix well. Press the mixture into an ungreased 10x15 inch pan.
  5. 5 Melt the butterscotch and chocolate chips over a medium-low heat; mix well. Spread the mixture over the pan of cereal mixture. Let cool before cutting into bars.

  1. 1 Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside.
  2. 2 In a large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time then stir in the vanilla. Blend in the sifted ingredients until just incorporated. Mix in the cereal, coconut, walnuts and raisins. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Cookies should be at least 2 inches apart.
  3. 3 Bake for 9 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
