Instructions
- 1 Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place a roasting rack in a large baking dish.
- 2 Sprinkle sage and garlic powder over entire turkey.
- 3 Wrap turkey completely with bacon.
- 4 Place turkey on the rack in the prepared baking dish. Pour water into the dish.
- 5 Bake turkey in the preheated oven, basting every 45 minutes with juices in the baking dish, until no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear, 3 1/2 to 4 hours. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
