Instructions
- 1 Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat and sprinkle with red pepper flakes. Add onions and cook until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, 1 to 2 minutes. Season with oregano, basil, and parsley. Add Roma tomatoes, cover, and cook over medium-high heat for 3 to 5 minutes. Reduce heat to medium and continue to cook for 10 to 12 minutes.
- 2 Reduce heat to low and cook until sauce has a thick consistency and the flavors are well blended, about 15 more minutes.
