Instructions

  1. 1 Heat a panini press to medium-high heat according to manufacturer's instructions.
  2. 2 Butter 1 side of each slice of bread. Flip 1 slice and spread mustard on top; add cheese. Place apple slices on the cheese. Lay bacon on top. Cover with the other slice of bread, buttered side-up.
  3. 3 Place sandwich into the panini press and press down. Grill until lightly browned, about 3 minutes per side.

Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat the oven or a toaster oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Spread the Brie cheese onto two slices of bread, and top with remaining slices. Place on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 8 minutes, turning once halfway through. Cut in half, and set aside.
  2. 2 In a saucepan over medium heat, stir together the tomato puree, red pepper flakes, black pepper, basil, and sugar. Bring to a simmer, and cook for 10 minutes.
  3. 3 Whisk in the cream cheese until well blended, then stir in the milk. Heat through without bringing to a boil. Stir in the fresh basil, and remove from the heat.
  4. 4 To serve, place each sandwich half into a separate bowl. Ladle soup over each one into the bowl. Serve immediately.

Instructions

  1. 1 Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the apples; cook and stir until tender, 7 to 8 minutes. Stir in the brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and pecans and continue to cook for 1 to 2 minutes longer. Remove from the heat and set aside.
  2. 2 Preheat the oven's broiler.
  3. 3 Cut the slices of bread in half if they are very large and toast lightly. Spread the remaining butter on to one side of each piece of bread. Place two slices of brie cheese onto the unbuttered side of each piece of bread. Top with a generous scoop of the apple mixture. Place the open face sandwiches onto a baking sheet.
  4. 4 Broil until the cheese has melted, about 1 minute. Sprinkle with additional cinnamon if desired.

  1. 1 Generously butter one side of each slice of bread.
  2. 2 Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  3. 3 Place bread slices butter-side down into hot skillet. Arrange Brie cheese slices on top of each piece of bread. Sprinkle thyme and cracked black pepper over the top.
  4. 4 Spread pear slices in a single layer over the Brie cheese on one slice of bread and top with a pinch of salt.

  1. 1 Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and celery; cook until onion is translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in flour and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Gradually whisk in chicken stock. Simmer until celery is tender, about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in Brie cheese and allow to melt for about 5 minutes.
  2. 2 Pour soup into a blender, filling the pitcher no more than halfway full. Hold down the lid of the blender with a folded kitchen towel, then carefully start the blender, using a few quick pulses to get the soup moving before leaving it on to purée.   1. 1 Pulse all marinade ingredients in blender until a rough paste, scraping down blender jar as needed.
  2. 2 Combine marinade and meat in gallon-size zipper-lock bag; press out as much air as possible and seal bag. Refrigerate 1 hour, flipping bag after 30 minutes to ensure that meat marinates evenly.
  3. 3 Drain and discard marinade. Grill steak, over medium high heat for 7-9 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
