Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Line a 9 inch square baking pan with aluminum foil. Spray the foil with cooking spray.
  2. 2 In a large bowl, stir together the oats, flour, cereal, and cinnamon. Add the egg, applesauce, honey, brown sugar, and oil. Mix well. Stir in the sunflower seeds, walnuts, and dried fruit. Spread mixture evenly in the prepared pan.
  3. 3 Bake 30 minutes, or until firm and lightly browned around the edges. Let cool. Use the foil to lift from the pan. Cut into bars or squares, and store in the refrigerator.

Instructions

  1. 1 Place water and lentils in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer until tender, about 30 minutes. Drain.
  2. 2 Combine cooked lentils, nutlike cereal nuggets, walnuts, eggs, milk, onion soup mix, and poultry seasoning in a large bowl; mix well using your hands. The mixture will be very thick. Set aside for 30 minutes, or refrigerate 8 hours to overnight.
  3. 3 Place bread crumbs in a shallow bowl. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Form lentil mixture into balls using an ice cream scoop; drop into bread crumbs and coat while flattening into patties. Add patties to the skillet; cook until nicely browned, about 5 minutes per side, depending on thickness of the patties.

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
  2. 2 Whisk flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and baking soda together in bowl. Combine nugget cereal and light cream together in another bowl. Beat eggs in another bowl until light and frothy.
  3. 3 Stir cereal mixture, white sugar, and eggs together in a large bowl. Add flour mixture to cereal mixture and stir to combine batter. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and sprinkle maple sugar over the top.
  4. 4 Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 40 minutes. Run a knife along the sides of the pan to loosen the loaf; tap pan gently while tilting the pan to turn the loaf out onto a wire rack. Cool completely.

  1. 1 Combine the yogurt and pudding mix in a large bowl; beat with an electric mixer until well blended, 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in 2 cups of the mixed berries and the cereal until blended. Pour the yogurt and berry mixture into a 9 inch pie plate. Cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate 2 hours.
  2. 2 Meanwhile, place the remaining 1 cup of berries in a medium bowl and slightly mash with a fork. Stir in the sugar and lemon juice. Set mixture aside at room temperature.
  3. 3 Spoon chilled berry-yogurt mixture into serving dishes. Top with a spoonful of mashed berries, and whipped cream, if desired.

  1. 1 Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. 2 Toss sliced apples with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  3. 3 Combine flour, rolled oats, cereal nuggets, 1/2 cup melted butter, 1/4 cup white sugar, and 1/4 cup brown sugar in a large bowl; set aside.
  4. 4 Melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in remaining 1/3 cup white sugar, remaining 1/3 cup brown sugar, and cinnamon until sugars begin to dissolve, 3 to 4 minutes. Add apples and water; cook and stir until apples soften and coated with sauce, 4 to 5 minutes.

  6. 6 Bake in the preheated oven until top browned and bubbling around edges, 25 to 30 minutes. Cool 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
