  1. 1 Place a collection container under the exit spout of a juicer; turn the juicer on. Place orange halves into the feeding chute; insert the food pusher and gently guide orange halves down the chute. Repeat with carrot and ginger. Turn off the juicer.

  1. 1 Chill 2 martini glasses. Pour about 1 tablespoon coarse salt onto a shallow dish. Cut a slit into one of the orange wedges and rub along the rim of the chilled glasses to moisten. Roll edges of glasses in the salt to create a salt-rim and place glasses in the freezer while mixing the margaritas.
  2. 2 Pour orange juice, tequila, and orange liqueur into a cocktail shaker and shake well. Add a bit of crushed ice into the chilled martini glasses and pour margaritas into the glasses. Garnish with orange wedges and serve.

  1. 1 Use a sharp knife or a vegetable peeler to remove the zest from the oranges in strips, being careful to remove only the orange part, leaving the pith behind. Then, juice the oranges into a large, heavy-bottomed pot.
  2. 2 Pour the red wine and white wine into the pot with the orange juice. Place the strips of orange zest, ginger, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and brown sugar into the pot with the wine mixture; stir to dissolve the sugar.
  3. 3 Cover and heat over medium-high until heated through, but not boiling, reduce the heat to medium-low and heat for an hour or longer to bring all of the flavors together. Adjust the sweetness by adding more brown sugar, as necessary. Strain and serve hot with a splash of brandy, if desired.

  1. 1 Place dandelion blossoms into boiling water and let sit for 4 minutes. Remove and discard blossoms. Let water cool to 90 degrees F (32 degrees C), about 10 minutes.
  2. 2 Stir in sugar, orange, lemon, and yeast; pour into a plastic fermentor and attach a fermentation lock. Let the wine ferment in a cool area until the bubbles stop, 10 to 14 days.
  3. 3 Siphon the wine off of the lees (sediment) and strain liquid through cheesecloth before bottling in four sterilized 1-quart canning jars.
