Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
  2. 2 Whisk flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and baking soda together in bowl. Combine nugget cereal and light cream together in another bowl. Beat eggs in another bowl until light and frothy.
  3. 3 Stir cereal mixture, white sugar, and eggs together in a large bowl. Add flour mixture to cereal mixture and stir to combine batter. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and sprinkle maple sugar over the top.
  4. 4 Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 40 minutes. Run a knife along the sides of the pan to loosen the loaf; tap pan gently while tilting the pan to turn the loaf out onto a wire rack. Cool completely.

  1. 1 Remove stems from figs with scissors. Chop in food processor in batches.
  2. 2 In a non-stick pan, combine chopped figs with orange zest, chocolate chips, whiskey, walnuts, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Heat over medium heat until chocolate melts, stirring frequently. Cool completely.

Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  2. 2 In a large bowl, cream together the margarine and 1 cup of white sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and maple syrup. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until just mixed. In a small dish, mix together the remaining 1/2 cup white sugar and the maple sugar. Roll dough into 1 inch balls, and roll the balls in the sugar mixture. Place cookies 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  3. 3 Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Cookies will be crackly on top and look wet in the middle. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.
