Instructions

  1. 1 Turn on a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot®) and select Saute function. Add onion and saute until translucent, about 3 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent uneven cooking. Add ground sirloin and cook, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink, 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in vinegar and simmer for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. 2 Turn off Instant Pot®. Add tomatoes, kidney beans, pumpkin, ancho chile pepper, brown sugar, cumin, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, chipotle powder, and habanero hot sauce and stir to combine. Close and lock the lid and close the vent. Select high pressure according to manufacturer's instructions; set timer for 45 minutes. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for pressure to build.
  3. 3 Release pressure using the natural-release method according to manufacturer's instructions for 10 minutes. Release remaining pressure carefully using the quick-release method according to manufacturer's instructions, about 5 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid.
  4. 4 Stir in cinnamon oil, cilantro oil, and clove oil. Serve the chili in bowls or crocks.

  1. 1 Roll the edges of two 16-inch squares of heavy-duty aluminum foil to form a rim around the outside. Generously sprinkle confectioners' sugar onto each square.
  2. 2 Heat sugar, corn syrup, and water in a large, heavy saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves and mixture is boiling, about 5 minutes. Stop stirring and boil until a candy thermometer reads 300 to 310 degrees F (149 to 154 degrees C), about 25 minutes.
  3. 3 Remove from the heat and stir in cinnamon oil and food coloring. Pour hot mixture onto the prepared foil and allow to cool and harden, about 45 minutes. Crack cooled candy into pieces.

Instructions

  1. 1 Sprinkle gelatin over cold water and set aside.
  2. 2 In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring 3/4 cup water to a boil. Stir in 2 cups sugar and boil 5 minutes. Stir in gelatin mixture. Allow to boil gently for 15 minutes.
  3. 3 Dip three shallow, small pans in cold water, then remove. Remove boiling mixture from heat, and divide evenly among three heat-proof bowls. Flavor one bowl with peppermint, one with lemon, and one with cinnamon. Tint the peppermint green, the lemon yellow, and the cinnamon red. Pour each mixture into its own pan and let rest overnight to set.
  4. 4 Turn gumdrops out onto a sugared board and cut into squares with a sharp knife. Roll cut gumdrops in sugar. Let stand until firm.
