Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. 2 Trim any fat from chicken and cut into 1-inch cubes.
  3. 3 In a bowl, beat the eggs with the water and add the chicken.
  4. 4 Combine the parsley, thyme, red pepper, bread crumbs, wheat germ, basil and pepper. Stir in the oil with a fork and mix well to distribute evenly. Pour seasoning mixture into a resealable plastic bag and toss the chicken pieces to coat.
  5. 5 Place coated chicken pieces on the prepared baking sheet and bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 10 minutes, turn the pieces, and bake for an additional 5 minutes.

  3. 3 Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  4. 4 Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes, until golden brown and loaf sounds hollow when tapped. Let cool on a wire rack.

  2. 2 Set the ground turkey and ground pork out at room temperature to warm slightly.
  3. 3 Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat; cook the carrot, bell pepper, onion, garlic, and spinach in the heated oil until soft; set aside to cool.
  4. 4 Mix together the turkey, pork, bread crumbs, wheat germ, eggs, 2 tablespoons ketchup, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Add the vegetable mixture and continue to mix until evenly combined; shape into a loaf; lay on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. 5 Whisk together the honey and 1 tablespoon ketchup in a small bowl; spread over the meatloaf.
  6. 6 Bake in the preheated oven until no longer pink in the center, 60 to 70 minutes; remove to a serving platter and allow to rest 5 minutes before slicing.

Add: 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened at room temperature. DO NOT USE DIET MARGARINE. Mix in 1 egg, slightly beaten and 1 teaspoon vanilla. 3. Mix until completely blended. You will need to finish mixing with your hands. 4. Shape into walnut sized balls and place 2 inches apart on a sprayed cookie sheets. 5. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 12 to 14 minutes until edges are lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet. Remove cookies to racks to finish cooling. Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
