  1. 1 Mix romaine lettuce and bok choy in a large bowl; add almonds and sunflower seed kernels. Sprinkle crumbled ramen noodles over the lettuce mixture; add Mandarin oranges and toss.
  2. 2 Melt butter in small skillet over medium heat; cook until browned, 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. 3 Beat olive oil, vinegar, sugar, and soy sauce together to dissolve the sugar until the mixture is smooth; whisk browned butter into the mixture.
  4. 4 Drizzle dressing over the salad and toss to coat.

  1. 1 In a blender or food processor, mix the orange segments, vinegar, and brown sugar. Transfer to a large resealable plastic bag, and mix in the reserved mandarin orange liquid and oil. Place the turkey drumsticks in the bag, seal, and marinate in the refrigerator 1 hour.
  2. 2 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  3. 3 Place the marinated turkey drumsticks on the baking sheet, and season with salt.
  4. 4 Cover, and bake 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove cover, and continue baking 1 hour, basting often with the remaining orange mixture, to an internal temperature of 180 degrees F (80 degrees C).

  1. 1 Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (225 degrees C).
  2. 2 Arrange the snapper fillets in a single layer in the bottom of a lightly greased shallow baking dish. In a medium bowl, stir together the mandarin orange juice, lime juice, brown sugar, soy sauce and sesame oil. Mix in the red pepper flakes, ginger and chopped mandarin oranges. Pour over the snapper in the dish.
  3. 3 Bake uncovered for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, until fish is opaque. Transfer fillets to serving plates and spoon the sauce over them. Garnish with a sprinkle of cashews and green onion.

  1. 1 Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook orzo in the boiling water, stirring occasionally until cooked through but firm to the bite, about 11 minutes. Drain and transfer to a large bowl. Add mandarin oranges, pineapple chunks, crushed pineapple, and maraschino cherries to orzo.
  2. 2 Combine juice from mandarin oranges, juice from pineapple chunks, juice from crushed pineapple, sugar, eggs, and flour in a saucepan over low heat; cook, stirring often, until sauce is thickened, 5 to 7 minutes. Remove sauce from heat and cool, about 30 minutes.
  3. 3 Pour cooled sauce over orzo mixture and toss to coat. Refrigerate until flavors blend, 8 hours to overnight. Fold whipped topping into orzo mixture before serving.

  1. 1 Mix beer, honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, rosemary, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a large resealable plastic bag until thoroughly combined. Add chicken to the marinade, evenly coat, and squeeze air from the bag. Seal and refrigerate several hours to overnight, turning bag over occasionally.
  2. 2 Preheat outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.

  1. 1 Season beef with 1 teaspoon salt.
  2. 2 Heat oil in a 4-quart Dutch oven over medium-high heat until shimmering. Sear beef in the hot oil, 3 minutes per side. Remove to a plate.
  3. 3 Saute onion and garlic in the Dutch oven until soft, about 5 minutes. Add ginger, allspice, and cinnamon; stir for 1 minute. Pour wine into the pot and bring to a boil while scraping the browned bits of food off the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon.
