  4. 4 Peel and slice kiwi and 1/2 of strawberries. Chop the other 1/2 of strawberries and set aside.

  6. 6 Arrange kiwi slices around the edge of the serving bowl and alternate with strawberry slices. Chill and serve.

  7. 7 Broil pork until it is dark and glossy and the edges start to blacken, about 5 minutes. Flip and baste on the second side. Continue broiling until second side darkens and starts to blacken, about 5 minutes more. Slice with a sharp knife.

  6. 6 Transfer chuck steaks to a cutting board; shred with 2 forks. Mix in 2 raw green onions.
  7. 7 Pour cooking liquid from the slow cooker into the skillet. Simmer over medium heat until reduced and thickened into a sauce, about 10 minutes. Stir in shredded steak; simmer until most of the sauce is absorbed, about 5 minutes.
  8. 8 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish with 1/4 of the pasilla chile sauce.
  9. 9 Spoon shredded steak mixture into tortillas. Wrap up and place seam-side down, close together, in the baking dish. Pour remaining pasilla chile sauce over tortillas. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and chives on top.
  10. 10 Bake in the preheated oven until cheese is melted and bubbly, 20 to 30 minutes.

  2. 2 Place maraschino cherries in a pleasing design around the bottom of a 10- to 12-inch gelatin mold. Arrange mint leaves around the cherries, right-sides down (facing out and touching the mold).
  3. 3 Combine maraschino cherry juice in a bowl with 2 cups water; pour 1/2 inch into the mold on top of cherries and mint, reserve remaining liquid. Place mold in the freezer until partially frozen, about 1 hour.
  4. 4 Remove mold from the freezer and arrange green and gold kiwis on top of cherries. Use ice cubes and grapes to hold kiwi slices in place. Top with remaining ice and grapes. Carefully fill the mold with remaining water-juice mixture, and add more water as necessary to fill to the top edge of the mold. Place in the freezer until frozen solid, about 24 hours.
  5. 5 To unmold the ice ring, fill a bowl that is larger than the mold with 1 inch of hot water. Place the mold into the hot water until ice ring separates from the mold, about 1 minute. Transfer ice ring into your punch bowl and serve immediately.
