- 1 Combine ground beef, egg, Parmesan cheese, flaxseed, oregano, salt, and pepper in a large bowl; mix with your hands until well combined. Roll mixture into golf ball-size meatballs.

Pour tomato sauce over meatballs; bring to a simmer and cook until meatballs are cooked through, 25 to 30 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of a meatball should read at least 160 degrees F (72 degrees F).
