  1. 1 Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. 2 Unroll crescent dough; pinch or press perforation between triangles to form 4 rectangular pieces. Cut each rectangle in half lengthwise to form 8 narrow strips. Set aside.
  3. 3 Cut a 2-inch slice through center of one end of 1 hot dog; cut two more 2-inch slices on either side of original slice, so "legs" are about the same thickness. Repeat on the other end of hot dog. Repeat cutting slices ("legs") into remaining 7 hot dogs.
  4. 4 Roll 1 crescent strip around center of each dog. Place spider dogs on an ungreased baking sheet.
  5. 5 Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 11 minutes. Dip a chopstick into ketchup; dot "eyes" onto each spider. Serve spider dogs with remaining ketchup.

  2. 2 Mix sauerkraut and salad dressing together in a bowl until well combined. Unroll crescent roll dough, and cut dough in half; place one half of the dough onto a floured work surface, and pinch the perforations of the dough closed to make 1 sheet. Roll dough sheet out to about 12 inches square, and fit the dough into the prepared baking sheet. Pinch perforations closed on 2nd half of dough; roll out to about 9 inches square, and set aside.
  3. 3 Prebake dough crust in the baking dish in the preheated oven until lightly browned, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven, and place 4 slices of cheese into the bottom of the crust; top cheese slices with the corned beef, and spread with the sauerkraut mixture. Lay 4 remaining slices of Swiss cheese on top of the sauerkraut mixture. Lay the 2nd sheet of crescent roll dough onto the filled baking sheet, and press the top crust down onto the edges of the dish to seal. Brush with beaten egg white.
  4. 4 Bake in the oven until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes; let stand about 5 minutes before slicing.

Mound one portion of meatless beef mixture on the wide area and gently roll up to the tip. Tuck the edges of the roll up around the side of the bundle. Place in the pie plate. Repeat.

  1. 1 Cook and stir bacon, onion, dry mustard, and nutmeg in a large skillet over medium-low heat until caramelized, 20 to 30 minutes. Squish the bacon mixture to one side in the pan and set the pan at an angle so the grease drains to the bottom. Discard grease and let bacon mixture cool for 5 to 10 minutes.

  3. 3 Combine cooled bacon mixture, mozzarella, sour cream, and mayonnaise in a large bowl. Mix together until the consistency is thick like a paste.
  4. 4 Open 1 can of crescent rolls (keep the others in the fridge until you are ready to open them) and separate each triangle. Use a pizza cutter to cut each triangle into 5 strips by cutting it 3 times across diagonally, and then cutting the 2 longer strips in half.
  5. 5 Take about 1 teaspoon of the filling and wrap a crescent dough strip around it, stretching it if needed. It doesn't matter if the filling is poking out of the bottom. Line them up on a baking tray and squish the tops flat so they stay upright. Repeat with remaining cans of dough and filling.
  6. 6 Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes.
