Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
  2. 2 Combine banana, yogurt, ½ cup brown sugar, oats, ¼ cup butter, maple syrup, and egg in a large bowl; set aside until oats soften, 10 to 20 minutes.
  3. 3 Combine ¾ cup whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl; stir into banana mixture along with peaches until just combined. Pour mixture into the prepared baking pan.
  4. 4 Combine pecans, remaining ½ cup whole wheat flour, remaining ¼ cup brown sugar, remaining ¼ cup melted butter, and 1 pinch cinnamon in a bowl; spread over cake batter.
  5. 5 Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean, 40 to 50 minutes. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
  2. 2 Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, flax, chia seeds, and dandelion petals in a bowl. Crush lavender flowers with fingers; add to flour mixture. Stir in vanilla extract and enough water to create a moist dough that holds together when squeezed. Portion dough into 6 cookies and arrange on prepared baking sheet.

  1. 1 Melt coconut oil in a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot®) set to the Saute function. Add oats and toast until they are starting to brown, 2 to 3 minutes. Turn off Saute function. Add water, almond milk, zucchini, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir lightly.
  2. 2 Close and lock the lid. Select high pressure according to manufacturer's instructions; set timer for 4 minutes. Allow 10 minutes for pressure to build.
  3. 3 Release pressure using the natural-release method according to manufacturer's instructions, about 10 minutes. Release remaining pressure carefully using the quick-release method according to manufacturer's instructions, about 5 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid. Stir in maple syrup and vanilla extract.
  4. 4 Divide oatmeal evenly between 4 bowls. Top each bowl with 1 tablespoon walnuts.

  1. 1 Bring water, salt, and pepper to boil in a slow cooker set to High. Stir in steel cut oats, cover, and cook 90 minutes.
  2. 2 In a large bowl, mix beef, pork, and onions. Stir into the oat mixture, and reduce heat to Low. Cover, and continue cooking 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  3. 3 Transfer the mixture to a medium baking pan, and cool until semi-solid. Turn out onto wax paper, and chill 1 hour in the refrigerator, or until firm.
