Instructions
- 1 Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 10-inch Bundt pan; place chopped walnuts in the bottom of the pan.
- 2 Beat cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil, 1/2 cup of water, and 1/2 cup of rum in a large bowl with an electric mixer on high speed for 2 minutes. Pour batter into prepared Bundt pan over the walnuts.
- 3 Bake in the preheated oven until a skewer inserted into the cake comes our clean, 50 to 60 minutes.
- 4 To make the rum glaze: Combine butter, sugar, 1/4 cup of rum, and 1/4 cup water in a saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil and cook for 2 minutes; pour immediately over still warm cake.
