  1. 1 Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour batter into cupcake pans and bake as directed on cake mix box. Let cupcakes cool thoroughly before frosting.
  2. 2 Spread cupcakes lightly with chocolate icing. Sprinkle cookie crumbs on top.
  3. 3 Cut gummi worms in half (as many as you like). Put icing onto cut end of the worms and stick to the top of cupcakes. You can use as few or as many as will fit on each cupcake. Let icing set for 10 minutes and then enjoy.

Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line cups with paper liners.
  2. 2 Combine butter and sugar in a bowl. Beat using an electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, and beat well after each addition. Mix in vanilla extract. Stir flour, baking powder, and salt together in a separate bowl. Alternate adding flour mixture and all the milk in small amounts, mixing well after each addition.
  3. 3 Spoon batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling each 3/4 full.
  4. 4 Bake in the preheated oven until tops spring back when lightly pressed, about 20 minutes. Cool in the tin for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool completely, about 20 minutes.
  5. 5 Combine cream cheese and butter in a bowl. Beat using an electric mixer until creamy. Add confectioners' sugar 2 tablespoons at a time and mix. Add vanilla extract after 1/2 the confectioners' sugar has been incorporated.
  6. 6 Frost each cooled cupcake with a layer of cream cheese frosting. Place 2 chocolate chips for eyes, 1 red M&M® candy for the nose, and 1 gummy worm for the mouth on each cupcake. Place 2 rows of orange M&M's® on top to make the hair.

Instructions

  1. 1 Place cookies in the bowl of a food processor; pulse until the consistency of fine crumbs. Set aside.
  2. 2 Beat cream cheese, confectioners sugar, butter, and vanilla extract in a large bowl with an electric mixer on low speed until combined, then beat on medium speed until smooth. Add milk and pudding mix; beat on low speed until combined. Fold in whipped topping with a rubber spatula.
  3. 3 Layer 1/3 cookie crumbs into an ungreased 9x13-inch baking pan; top with 1/2 pudding mixture, 1/3 more cookie crumbs, remaining 1/2 pudding mixture, and remaining 1/3 cookie crumbs.
  4. 4 Tuck ends of gummi worms in cookie "dirt." Be sure to place a worm on each piece. Refrigerate before serving, at least 3 hours. Cut into 15 squares. (If serving in a clean flower pot or sand bucket, serve with a clean garden trowel or a toy sand shovel.) Store in the refrigerator.
