  1. 1 Stir baking mix, milk, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract together in a bowl until batter is smooth; fold in banana and chocolate chips until just combined.
  2. 2 Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Sprinkle a few drops water in skillet; they will dance and disappear when skillet is ready.
  3. 3 Spoon just under 1/4 cup batter into the pan; cook until bubbles appear on the top of each pancake and bottom is golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes. Flip each pancake and cook until bottom is golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter.

Instructions

  1. 1 Place pork roast into the bottom of a slow cooker and cover with sauerkraut with juice, applesauce, brown sugar, and 1 can beer. Set cooker to High, cover, and cook 3 hours. Reduce heat to Low and cook 4 more hours.
  2. 2 About 1 1/2 hours before serving time, heat water with reserved pork trimmings in a large saucepan over low heat and simmer to make broth, about 45 minutes. Strain broth, discard trimmings, and pour remaining can of beer and kraut juice into the simmering broth. Bring the broth to a boil.
  3. 3 Mix baking mix and milk in a bowl to make a sticky dough. Drop by spoonfuls into the boiling broth. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer dumplings for 10 minutes; uncover and simmer until dumplings are set, about 10 more minutes. For chewier dumplings, boil a few minutes longer. Remove dumplings from the broth with a slotted spoon and transfer to a serving bowl.
  4. 4 Serve pork with cooked kraut and dumplings on the side; spoon thickened broth over dumplings.

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a 12 cup muffin pan with paper baking cups.
  2. 2 Stir together the baking mix, white sugar, egg, and milk in a bowl just until combined. Stir in 1/2 of the cherry pie filling. Fill the lined muffin cups 2/3 full. Top each muffin with 3 cherries from the remaining cherry pie filling.
  3. 3 Mix flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon together in a small bowl with a fork until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over unbaked muffins.
  4. 4 Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 22 minutes. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack.

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9 inch pie pan.
  2. 2 In a medium bowl, mix together the baking mix, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and pepper. Gradually mix in the milk until moistened. Knead a few times on a floured board. Roll dough out to a 12 inch circle, and press into the greased pie pan. Fold edges, and flute.
  3. 3 Place bacon and onion in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat, and cook until bacon is evenly brown. Drain, and crumble bacon. Sprinkle bacon, onion, and Cheddar cheese into the pie pan.
  4. 4 In a medium bowl, beat eggs with 1 teaspoon salt and hot pepper sauce, then slowly stir in hot evaporated milk. Pour into the pie shell.
  5. 5 Bake 5 minutes in the preheated oven, then reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Continue baking 25 minutes, or until center is almost set. Do not over bake - the quiche will set as it cools.

Instructions

  1. 1 Heat shortening in a large skillet over medium-high heat. In a medium bowl, stir together 1 cup baking mix, salt, paprika, and pepper. Coat chicken with mixture, and fry in shortening, turning until browned. Remove chicken to paper towels, and drain fat.
  2. 2 Wipe out skillet, and return to stove. Stir soup and milk together in skillet. Place chicken in pan, and heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover skillet, and simmer 45 minutes, turning chicken from time to time.
  3. 3 Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine 2 cups baking mix, milk, parsley, and poultry seasoning, stirring together until a soft dough forms. Once the chicken has cooked 45 minutes, drop the dumpling mixture by tablespoonfuls into the simmering gravy. Cook uncovered for 10 minutes; cover, and cook 10 minutes more, until dumplings expand.

  1. 1 Preheat oven and prepare the baking mix according to package directions for rolled biscuits, adding 2 teaspoons vanilla with the measure of water listed in the package directions. Roll out or pat dough into 6-inch circle on lightly floured surface; cut into 6 wedges. Place, 2 inches apart, on ungreased baking sheet. Brush tops lightly with additional water; sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  2. 2 Bake according to package directions.
  3. 3 Mix 1/2 cup water and granulated sugar in small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes, or until slightly thickened, to a syrup-like consistency. Remove from heat; cool slightly. Stir in remaining 2 teaspoons vanilla. Pour over the fruit in large bowl; toss gently to coat.
  4. 4 Split biscuits horizontally in half. Place bottom halves of biscuits on 6 dessert plates; cover evenly with half of the fruit mixture. Top each with a serving of Reddi-wip and top half of biscuit. Spoon remaining fruit mixture evenly over biscuits; top with additional serving of Reddi-wip.

  1. 1 In a large pot over medium heat, simmer chicken in 6 cups water until no longer pink. Remove chicken, cool and shred.
  2. 2 Return shredded chicken to pot and stir in butter, salt and pepper. Cook until chicken reaches desired tenderness, 15 to 60 minutes.
  3. 3 In a bowl, stir together baking mix and milk until smooth. In a separate bowl, stir together flour and 1/2 cup cold water until smooth. Stir flour mixture into soup; bring soup to a rolling boil.
  4. 4 Drop baking mix mixture by tablespoonfuls into the boiling water, neatly around the chicken. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook, uncovered, 10 minutes. Then cover and cook 10 minutes more. (Sneak a spatula under the dumplings to prevent chicken from sticking to the bottom of the pot.) Serve hot.
