Instructions
- 1 Combine strawberries and dark corn syrup in a medium saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Stir until mixture simmers and strawberries release their juices, about 10 minutes.
- 2 Off heat, stir sugar and lemon juice into strawberry mixture until sugar has dissolved. Cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator before serving.
