  1. 1 In a large bowl, mix together soy sauce, pear juice, sugar, garlic, sesame oil, sesame seeds, black pepper, and monosodium glutamate; add beef and onions. Stir to coat, cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  2. 2 Preheat a grill pan over high heat and brush with oil; add beef and onions. Cook, turning to brown evenly, for 3 to 6 minutes, or until done.

Instructions

  1. 1 In a medium saucepan, mix the pears, brown sugar, lemon juice, pear juice, and cinnamon. Bring to boil. Cook 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  2. 2 Transfer the sauce mixture to a blender, and blend until smooth. Return to saucepan, cover, and simmer 15 minutes over low heat. Remove from heat, and allow to cool.
  3. 3 Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat, and cook the pork chops 8 minutes, turning once, until done. Drizzle with the pear sauce to serve.

Instructions

  1. 1 Place beef in a large glass or ceramic bowl. Add pear juice, cooking wine, and black pepper; stir to coat. Marinate for 30 minutes. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, green onion, sugar, garlic, and sesame seeds. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap; marinate in the refrigerator, 2 hours to overnight.
  2. 2 Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat.
  3. 3 Remove beef from marinade; shake off excess. Discard marinade. Place a sheet of aluminum foil on the preheated grill. Lay beef slices in a single layer on the foil. Place mushrooms and onion on another part of the foil.
  4. 4 Cook on the preheated grill until beef evenly brown, 3 to 5 minutes per side. Serve with cooked mushrooms and onion.
