Instructions
- 1 Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add fennel, onion, and fennel seeds. Season with salt and pepper.
- 2 Cook, stirring occasionally, until fennel is just tender and beginning to brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Stir in apple and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Top with additional black pepper and, if desired, fennel fronds.
