Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Cook broccoli according to package directions. Drain, and cool.
  2. 2 In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, onion, parsley, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper. Stir in the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, margarine and milk. Mix in the broccoli last. Let the mixture stand for about 10 minutes. It should thicken, but if not, add a little more bread crumbs. Roll the mixture into small balls, and arrange on a greased baking sheet.
  3. 3 Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until firm and lightly toasted.

  1. 1 In a large skillet saute the onion in the butter until tender. Stir in the chicken, chicken broth, garlic salt, poultry seasoning, pepper and cream cheese. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. 2 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  3. 3 In a large bowl mix together the flour, salt and paprika; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add water, tossing with a fork until a ball forms.
  4. 4 On a floured surface roll out the pastry to 1/16 inch thick. Cut with a 2 1/2 inch round cookie or biscuit cutter. Reroll scraps and cut more circles until the pastry is used up.
  5. 5 Mound a heaping teaspoon of filling on half of each circle. Moisten edges with water and fold pastry over filling to make a half moon shape. Press edges with a fork to seal. Prick tops with a fork for steam vents.
  6. 6 Place turnovers on a baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.

  1. 1 Place water and lentils in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer until tender, about 30 minutes. Drain.
  2. 2 Combine cooked lentils, nutlike cereal nuggets, walnuts, eggs, milk, onion soup mix, and poultry seasoning in a large bowl; mix well using your hands. The mixture will be very thick. Set aside for 30 minutes, or refrigerate 8 hours to overnight.
  3. 3 Place bread crumbs in a shallow bowl. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Form lentil mixture into balls using an ice cream scoop; drop into bread crumbs and coat while flattening into patties. Add patties to the skillet; cook until nicely browned, about 5 minutes per side, depending on thickness of the patties.

  1. 1 Combine flour, poultry seasoning, salt, and black pepper in a shallow bowl. Beat eggs and milk together in a second shallow bowl until smooth. Mix bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and 1 teaspoon black pepper together in a third shallow bowl.
  2. 2 Scoop stuffing, about 2 tablespoons per serving, and roll into a ball using your hands, forming about 12 balls. Dredge each ball through flour mixture, shaking off any excess. Transfer each ball to egg mixture and evenly coat. Roll each ball in the bread crumb mixture until evenly coated. Set stuffing balls on a plate; set aside to allow coating to stick.
  3. 3 Heat oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  4. 4 Carefully lower 4 to 5 stuffing balls into hot oil and fry until golden brown on all sides, about 4 minutes; transfer to a paper towel-lined plate using a slotted spoon. Repeat with remaining stuffing balls.

  1. 1 Rinse and dry chicken. Remove excess fat and leave skin on. Lift skin from breast and thigh areas; slide bay leaves under skin. Coat chicken with poultry seasoning.
  2. 2 Drink 1/2 of the can of beer; pour liquid smoke into remaining beer. Raise tab on beer can until it is in the straight-up position.

  4. 4 Preheat the grill by lighting the coals. Spread the coals to form a ring around the outside edge of the grill.
  5. 5 Place chicken in the center, standing up on the can to cook. Close grill; cook for 2 hours. A meat thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
  6. 6 Remove chicken carefully from the grill so as not to spill the contents of the can. Remove skewer and beer can; let chicken sit for 15 minutes before cutting.

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place a wire rack on top of a baking sheet.

  1. 1 Season flour with poultry seasoning. Dredge the chicken breasts in the seasoned flour. Melt the butter with the oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Working in batches, fry the chicken in the hot butter mixture for about 5 minutes each side, depending on the thickness. Remove the chicken and set aside (keep warm.)
  2. 2 Deglaze pan with Marsala wine (deglazing is swirling or stirring a liquid in a pan to dissolve cooked food particles remaining on the bottom). Add the chopped mushrooms, chopped onions and rosemary. Saute for 5 minutes over high heat.
  3. 3 Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, baste with drippings, put cheese on the breasts and cook for another 2 1/2 minutes with the lid on tightly. Don't touch the lid! Remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes, until the breasts cook through. Check the seasoning and adjust. You will have the plumpest, juiciest chicken breasts you can imagine!
