Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2 Dust a flat work surface lightly with flour. Unroll both puff pastry sheets and roll each one out to a rectangle of the same size. Brush one puff pastry sheet with a little water and sprinkle with 1/2 of the Parmesan cheese. Lay the second puff pastry sheet on top, brush with water, and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese. Using a large star cutter cut out about twelve 2 1/2 to 3 1/2-inch stars.
  3. 3 Place stars on prepared baking sheet and chill in the fridge for 15 minutes (or 5 minutes in the freezer).
  4. 4 Bake in the preheated oven until puffed up and golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes.

Instructions

  1. 1 Place chicken breasts on a flat work surface. Slice horizontally through the middle, being careful not to cut through to the other side. Open the 2 sides and spread them out like an open book. Place chicken and marinade into a large resealable plastic bag. Squeeze out excess air, seal the bag, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  2. 2 Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F (260 degrees C).
  3. 3 Lay opened chicken breasts on a broiler pan. Place 4 basil leaves on one half of each chicken breast. Top each with 2 to 3 tomato slices and 1 cheese slice, then fold chicken together to enclose filling. Fasten with toothpicks if needed. Wrap 3 bacon slices around each chicken breast.
  4. 4 Cook in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Turn chicken and cook for 15 minutes more. Remove from the oven, sprinkle chicken with Parmesan, and continue cooking until cheese is melted, 2 to 3 minutes.

  2. 2 Warm 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil and garlic-flavored olive oil together in a skillet over medium heat until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in onions and mushrooms; reduce heat to low, and cook until the mixture has softened and caramelized, with browning around the edges, 8 to 12 minutes, adding additional olive oil if needed to prevent sticking.

  1. 1 Pat chicken thighs with a paper towel to dry. Sprinkle all sides with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. 2 Turn on a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot) and select Saute function. Add olive oil and butter and stir until butter is melted. Add chicken thighs, skin-side down, and saute until skin turns golden brown, about 5 to 6 minutes. Remove chicken to a plate.
  3. 3 Pour chicken broth, whipping cream, and Chardonnay into the pot and bring to a boil while scraping the browned bits of food off the bottom with a wooden spoon. Stir in rice until thoroughly mixed. Nestle chicken thighs on top of rice. Hit cancel and close and lock the lid.
  4. 4 Select high pressure according to manufacturer's instructions; set timer for 15 minutes. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for pressure to build.
  5. 5 Release pressure using the natural-release method according to manufacturer's instructions, for 20 minutes. Then release pressure carefully using the quick-release method according to manufacturer's instructions, about 5 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid.
  6. 6 Add broccoli florets to the pot and close and lock the lid. Select Steam function and set timer for 3 minutes.
  7. 7 Release pressure carefully using the quick-release method according to manufacturer's instructions, about 5 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid.
